Central Christian Music Programs
Jesus calls us to become actively involved in the building of God's Kingdom. This is the reason we sing our praises to God each Sunday morning and the reason we invite you to join us. If you have any questions concerning any of the music groups, please feel free to talk to call 428-4336 (office).
Please take a moment to consider joining the fine music program that we have at Central Christian Church. Our choir, ensemble, and bell members are a family within the community of the church. We feel a strong commitment as leaders of the worship and a strong commitment to each other. Below is a description of the groups we presently have, including youth music.

Summer Music Opportunities
During the summer, the adult music groups (Chancel Choir, Central Singers and Men's Chorus) continue to be active in the worship services at Central. If your summer schedule allows you the time to sing with us, please feel free to join us at rehearsals. Summer rehearsal times are Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Choir Chimes
The church owns a set of choir chimes. We need ringers, of any and all ages. If you are interested in trying the choir chimes, please contact Don Martin.
Chancel Choir is our main sanctuary choir that sings every Sunday morning. During the fall, winter and spring this group sings at the 8:15 a.m. service once a month, and the 10:45 service the remainder of the time. Chancel Choir practices on Thursday nights from 7:30-9:00 p.m. We would like to have 45 members singing every Sunday. If you sing, please consider seriously joining us. You are needed.
Chancel Bells Choir consists of 7-11 members who have an understanding of reading music. This group practices each Thursday night from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the choir room and participates in the worship service once every month. Members need to be very dedicated to this group.
Central Singers. Several ladies make up this fine group of singers who sing once a month during the 8:15 service. They also sing at various community functions during the year. Central Singers practice every Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. We are always looking for more ladies to sing with this group.
Men's Chorus. We are looking for many men to be a part of this illustrious group. Young men in high school are also encouraged to join. This group practices once a month on Wednesday night from 7:15-8:15 p.m. If you have a friend, not attending Central, who might be interested in this group, please tell them they are welcome to join. We would like to have 20-30 men in the group. This will not require a lot of your time. Men, here's your chance! Sign Up!
Carol Choir is for children 4 years old, kindergarten, and 1st & 2nd graders. All children in these grades are welcomed and encouraged to sing God's praises. Rehearsals are from 4:30-4:50 p.m. on Wednesdays. The director is Don Martin.
Cathedral Choir is for children from 3rd-6th grade. All children in these grades are welcomed and encouraged to sing God's praises. This choir sings during the second service once a month from October through May. Rehearsals are from 4:50-5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays starting September 9th. The director is Don Martin.

Youth Choir is comprised of 7th-12th graders who sing approximately once a month starting in October and ending in May. Rehearsals for this group are from 3:00-4:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Instrumental Ensembles - There are opportunities for instrumentalists to get together and prepare music for worship. Any combination of instruments is welcome. If you play an instrument and would like to share your gift, please contact Don Martin.
You do not have to be a member of the church to sing in any of these groups.
