Adult Sunday School Classes

 
On Sunday morning, are you searching for a place to:
  • learn more about the Bible;
  • pray with and for others;
  • link your faith and everyday life together,
  • make new friends,
  • have fun and fellowship together,
  • be a part of a smaller group?

There are many opportunities for adults to team and study together at Central Christian Church on Sunday mornings.

Church School classes for all ages meet from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. (Summer hours: 9:00 to 9:50 a.m.). Most of the adult classes meet on the second floor above the Friendship Center and church offices. The Disciples class meets downstairs next to the Great Hall. There are signs identifying each class beside the door.

Keystone Chalice
Eccelsia/Fellowship Disciples

Chalice class is comprised of couples and singles 30s, 40s and.... The class is a discussion oriented group that uses a variety of curriculum resources. There are occasional fellowship activities outside the class.

Disciples class is a group that includes couples and singles of various ages. Using both lecture and discussion, the class studies a variety of curriculum resources. The class has occasional socials and is involved in various service projects.

Eccelsia/Fellowship class is comprised of middle age through retirement age adults--mostly couples, though NOT limited to couples. Using the adult Bible Discovery curriculum, this class has lively discussions as they discover new understandings about the Bible and how it relates to their lives today. They also have fellowship activities and have various service projects.

Keystone class includes couples and single adults 60 years of age or older. They use the adult Bible Discovery curriculum. This group 'for fellowship and meals on a -regular basis. They are also involved in service projects.

OTHER EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Many other educational events are available for our families at Central. These programs include mission work trips for adults; several women's groups; Disciple Men; ChristCare; Stephen Minister Training, People of the Covenant; and various adult seminars and Bible study opportunities.
