This watercolor by Indiana artist Rob O'Dell depicts the first Macon County Courthouse, where in 1834 the Central Christian Church in Decatur, Illinois was organized. Abraham Lincoln was practicing law in the building during the same time we were using it for church services. The painting was commissioned in honor of Eldon Gustin, a long time member of Central. |
