This painting by Michael Bryant is a large acrylic on canvas painting (60" x 60") donated to the Chalice Sunday School Classroom. The work depicts a young Jesus returning home from a day with his father, Joseph the Carpenter. This Jesus is innocence. In a few years, he will begin the faith journey that offers salvation to mankind. But today, he has a chance to reflect by a stream and ponder the setting sun. |
