Pastors Class

Pastors Class is a time of study and reflection for youth who are considering accepting the Lord as their savior. In this course, led by all our pastors, youth study the essential beliefs and practices of the Disciples in order to prepare for growing spritual awareness and personal commitment.

Youth in the Pastors Class often make their Confessions of Faith and become members of our church on the day of their baptisim. These first baptisms are usually celebrated on Easter or Pentecost Sundays.

Elders also participate in the Pastors Class, being paired with an individual youth, as a resource and friend to discuss spiritual issues and questions of importance to the youth. This intergenerational learning parnership has been especially important as the youths expand their relationships to include their Church Family.

Vacation Church School

Each summer Central sponsors Vacation Church School and other unique experiences for children and youth.

Central Summer Day Camp, formerly Vacation Bible School, will be held each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon for three consecutive weeks beginning July 23rd, 2002. The theme for the nine days is "Co-Workers in Creation". In addition to fun crafts, silly songs and delicious (as well as nutritious) snacks, the activities will include exciting field trips to places such as the recycling center, Water Treatment plant, Rock Springs and the Zoo. Click here to view a photo album from the three weeks!
