Welcome to Central Christian Church
Traditional Worship:
Our Traditional services are held in our Sanctuary on the second floor at 8:00 AM & 10:30 AM. Expect to hear hymns and traditional music accompanied by a piano or organ. Dress is anywhere from casual to dressy- however you're comfortable.
Contemporary Worship:
Our Contemporary service is held in our Great Hall on the bottom floor at 9:15 AM. Expect to hear more contemporary music accompanied by our Praise Band. Dress is anywhere from casual to dressy- however you're comfortable.
Some things to know
WORSHIP
We have three (3) worship services each Sunday. Traditional worship meets in the sanctuary at 8:00 am & 10:30 am. Contemporary worship meets in the Great Hall at 9:15 am. Communion is served at all services, and the message is the same at each. Both the 9:15 am & 10:30 am services are also live-streamed on our website and on Facebook.
NURSERY
Children birth through age 5 are invited to stay in our nursery throughout Sunday morning. Parents are given a beeper in the case that nursery staff needs to communicate regarding a child.
DRESS AND ATTIRE
Come as you feel comfortable. Our traditional services tend to see dressier clothing but many also come in everything from jeans and a sweatshirt to business casual. You are welcome as you are.
COMMUNION
We have an open table, which means that everyone can participate, whether you are a member of the church or not.
YOUTH
We have a weekly youth fellowship gathering on Sunday afternoons from 4 – 6 p.m. It’s for grades K-12. After some opening worship, we divide into older and younger groups. The third Sunday of the month we usually take on a service project or go on a group-building outing. The last Sunday of the month is off (no youth group on those days). David Martin is our youth director and can answer any questions you may have.
WELCOME 101
If you are interested in learning more about Central (beliefs, core values, practices, etc.) our pastoral staff leads a Welcome 101 (one-time seminar) 2-4 times a year. Feel free to contact Michael Karunas if you are interested.
